Clay mat Pilates teacher training
A 25-hour program built for both aspiring and established teachers, training you in structured, music-driven mat Pilates. Take the Clay Method anywhere, or finish and audition to teach at Clay.
Limited October spots available
Structured sculpting, not chaotic burn.
The Clay Method is contemporary mat Pilates, built on classical principles and shaped for a modern, music-driven studio. Every class is programmed around form, time under tension, and progressive strength.
Over 25 hours you'll learn to design and teach a full Clay Method class: foundational Pilates principles, the anatomy that matters for group instruction, the Clay exercise library, and how to build a 45-minute class through the control, build, and peak arc. A big part of the training is the teaching itself: cueing, musical timing, and leading a room with confidence.
What you walk away with
Open to everyone, including beginners. No prior teaching experience required.

Your program director
Anja Billings
Anja Billings is the program director for the Clay Method Mat Pilates Teacher Training. Originally from San Diego, California, she's always lived an athletic lifestyle and loves finding ways to move that feel strong, sustainable, and fun. And if you're wondering how to pronounce her name, it's German, so don't worry, you're not the first. (On-yuh)
Anja found Pilates a couple of years ago while looking for a low-impact way to work out that actually felt good on her body, and she was instantly hooked. It quickly became her favorite way to move, feel strong, and stay grounded.
Her classes are high-energy and set to the beat of the music. She loves creating flows that challenge you, because if it's easy you're probably not growing, while still feeling supportive and intentional. Expect a big focus on core and stability with strength mixed in, and expect to leave sweaty, strong, and proud of yourself.
